REAL Training presents The REAL JV State XC Championships & All-Ages XC Relay!
The REAL JV State XC Championships
- The REAL JV State XC Championships are back! Let's see who the best JV teams and athletes in the state of Colorado are!
- This challenging event will be held on the athletic fields east of Niwot High School.
- This spike-friendly course will consist of grass and dirt with asphalt crossings covered. See course map below.
- JV Athletes: This is your chance to SHINE!

The All-Ages XC Relay
- New for 2023: The All-Ages XC Relay! Teams of 2 athletes will race on the same course, but in this event, each athlete will run a 2.5K leg.
- We have divisions for the fastest all-male teams, all-female teams, and coed teams. And we have divisions for middle school and elementary school teams, too!
- Everyone is welcome: Elementary, MS, and HS athletes; adults; masters; coaches, elites, etc.
- HS Coaches: If you register a complete Girls and/or Boys Championship team, you can enter a relay team for free (please email Coach Tim Geldean at coachtimgeldean@gmail.com for an entry code).

Registration
- Please visit our RunSignup page to register.
- Coaches will email a CSV file to make team entries simple.
Tentative Schedule (dependent on entry numbers*)
- All-Ages XC Relay: 4pm
- Girls 5K JV Championship: 4:40pm
- Boys 5K JV Championship: 5:20pm
- Awards: ~6pm
- * If the entry numbers of either of the JV Championship Races warrant it we may add an Open event.
Qualification Standards
- CO HS athletes only, and
- Athletes who did not compete in the 2021 CO State XC Championships, and
- Athletes who did not finish in their team's top 7 (3A/4A/5A) or top 6 (2A) at their Regional meet
- Basically, no end-of-season varsity runners, please and thank you.
Team Scoring
- Run: Unlimited
- Score: 5
- 6th & 7th runners (if applicable) will be "pushers" in the race.
