Meet Information
Athletic Directors and Cross Country Coaches,
We would like to invite you to attend the 7th Annual Warrior Lincoln Park Classic on Friday September 20th at the Lincoln Park Golf Course. This meet will be limited to approximately 30 teams which will include the five teams from the SWL (Central, Durango, Fruita, Grand Junction, and Montrose) and up to 25 additional teams. The course is a two loop course on the Lincoln Park Golf Course which is flat, fast and very spectator friendly. We are also inviting the top schools from Utah and Colorado to participate this year in the 1st ever "Mountain States XC Challenge" to try and highlight the best teams from Utah and Colorado going head to head. Grand Junction is located about half way between the majority of schools in both Colorado and Utah just across the border and makes an ideal location for both states to meet up and compete. We will also have a Mountains States Challenge Trophy designed that will have historical team winners placed on it each year.
Additionally we will be offering a Saturday morning group run for any teams staying the night who want to join us for a recovery run. More information to follow.
Please email Coach Leblow at ted.leblow@d51schools.org to confirm attendance on a first come first serve basis.
All coaches will need to register teams on CoMilesplit no later than Wednesday 18 September.
