Regionals will be hosted at Jack-A-Lope Acres, an event venue and active cattle ranch a few miles from Ignacio High School. Jack-A-Lope Acres is located at 7195 Co Rd 318, Ignacio, CO
Raceday Schedule
- Coaches Meeting: 9:00 AM @ Starting line
- Girls Race - 10:00 AM
- Boys Race - 10:45 AM A
- wards - 11:45
The course is a 5k loop with about 155 feet of vertical gain. The course contains mild rolling hills for the first two miles, and finishes with a steady sustained climb over the final 3/4 mile with a fast downhill to flat final sprint to the line
The surface is primarily well maintained gravel road and double track, with that final climb containing the most rugged portion of double track.
Parking will be on site, with specific instructions to come
A room block will be reserved at the Sky Ute Casino in Ignacio. More information on this will be made available here in the next few weeks. Ignacio is also about 30 minutes from Durango by bus if your school would prefer accommodations there
Directions to Jack-a-Lope from Pagosa Springs and all points east
- Take 160 W through Pagosa.
- In 16 miles turn left on CO 151 W towards Ignacio
- In 33 miles turn left on Goddard Ave (S) through downtown Ignacio
- After 1 mile turn right on Co Rd 318/Indian Rt 110
- In 1.6 miles Jack-a-Lope acres is on the right
- Take 160 E towards Durango
- In Durango, make a right onto 160 E/550 S
- In 7.5 miles, make a right on to CO 172 S
- In 17 miles make a right on Co Rd 318/Indian Rt 110
- In 1.6 miles Jack-a-Lope acres is on the right
