Save the date! March 18th and April 15th Coronado High School located at 1590 W. Fillmore St. Colorado Springs will host two JV meets on the new Coronado High School track facility. These meets will be timed by individual team coaches. We do have a supply of stop watches for you to borrow should you need to use them. We will offer all events including Unified Boys and Girls 100m and Long Jump. We will not offer Sprint Medley Relay, 4 x 800 and pole vault. We will post Heat Sheets on CO.MileSplit.com as soon as they become available.
TEAM CAMPS: Our stadium has limited seating so we as that all seats be reserved for spectators and coaches. Team Camps will be set up in the area on the EAST side of the track near the obstacle course. DO NOT allow your athletes attempt to climb in the obstacle course! Bring a tarp and soccer chairs for your athletes to lie down on in their camp area.
NO spectators or athletes are allowed beyond the flagged off area near shot put and discus. We need to keep the area safe.
Meet entry will be limited to 12 teams and/or 3 athletes per event,. If you are interested in bringing your JV team, contact Lisa.rainsberger@d11.org to reserve your entry and for more information.
Entry fee $175 per team. Smaller teams $15 per runner.
Meets will be hosted at Coronado High School: 1590 W. Fillmore St., Colorado Springs, CO 80904
Meet starts at 3:00pm. *Team buses need to arrive no later than 2:30pm due to parking and CHS school busses causing traffic jam when school gets out at 3:10pm. Your Buses will need to park in the North area parking lot near the Habitat for Humanity home being built by students.
Teams who have contacted Lisa Rainsberger will receive a registration Password to register. We will limit the meet to 14 teams. Let me know if you need to password.
