Coaches,

The Bob Archibeque Track and Field Invite will be held Friday, April 10, 2026 at Montezuma-Cortez High School Track.

- Coach's/scratch meeting at 8:30 am

- This is a state qualifying meet

- Teams can have 4 entries for each individual meet with the top 3 scoring.  2 Relays with only 1 team scoring

- Entries are due on MileSplit by Wednesday, April 8 by midnight

- All uniform rules will be followed. Coaches make sure your athletes are legally equipped

-Parts of our field will be restricted- North end will be used for warm-up. Hurdles will be available. Clerk check-in will be at the 50. We plan on keeping start areas clear.

- We will use a rolling schedule

-All races are run as finals

- Field events will have 3 prelim attemps, and 3 final attempts.  Top 9 will advance to finals.  We will measure the first legal attempt in the field events and follow the minimums for the rest of the event. Minimums are:

shot- 22 and 30, Discus 60 and 80, Long jump 12 and 15, Triple 24 and 32

-High Jump starting at 4-0 for girls and 5-0 for boys

- Pole Vault starting at 5-0 for girls and 6-0 for boys

- There will be t-shirts 1st place and medals for 2nd and 3rd. Trophies will be awarded to overall meet champs and runner-ups for each division.

- Scoring will be 10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1

- There is a $300.00 entry fee per school

-Medals can be picked up at the conclusion of meet.  Individual and relay winners at the clerks table in the middle of the field.
