Welcome to the 19th
Akron Tom Meyer Track Invitational at the Akron Sports Complex '10' lane,
all-weather track.We are excited to be
hosting this meet as a state qualifying meet.We are asking each school to be prepared to help out wherever and
whenever possible throughout the day.If
your school is assigned a field event please provide enough adult helpers to
run the event efficiently.You should
also be prepared to bring tape measures for your event if at all possible.Akron will be in charge of moving hurdles
and starting blocks, but may assign a couple schools to help with hurdles!We will use co.milesplit.com for your
entries.Check site for deadline

and pole check below concessions.
9 am - field events
11 am - running events
Entry fee: There
will be an entry fee of $200.00 per school if you choose to help run a field
event and $250 if you do not want to help run field events.
Batons will
be given for Boys and Girls Champions. No individual awards.
Entries:Online through Milesplit. No later than
April 24th 7 pm. No more than 4 entries
per event.
Admissions:
Adults: $8.00
Students/Seniors: $6.00
*This is a state
qualifier meet.We will use the
FinishLynx F. A. T. System and wind gauges.All throwing implements and vaulters must be weighed prior to your
events.This will be done in the storage
shed on the south side of the home stands underneath the concession stand.

tickets for lunch at the coaches meeting.
Running and
jumping events: All weather surfaces.1/8inch spikes or less only.
Throwing events:
Cement rings.
Field events:
4 attempts per field event. We will measure all throws/jumps. No finals.
Warm Up Area:Please have athletes warm up on the practice
FB field just north of the baseball field.Please stay off the football infield until you are called for an event
and then leave the infield immediately after your event is finished. The warmup
area is for team camps as well. No
tents in the bleachers.
Bus Parking
next to the track or on the East side of the complex.
Finish Line
-Please remind athletes, coaches,
parents, etc. that only officials will be allowed inside the area defined by a
restraining rope that will be from the staging area to the scaffolding at the
finish line.
