Notes on the course: Markers are half miles. Due to the park allowing the south side of the park to return to native vegetation, there are sections of tall grasses and single track (the blue section above the d in Harvard to marker 3. Water crossing 1 is mostly dry but the other two have water.
The Rec center and Golf course parking lots are off limits to meet parking. Parents should park in the surrounding neighborhood
Busses should unload on Iliff headed eastbound, please tell your parents not to park there to allow for busses to unload.
Team tents should be set up on the South athletics field
Slavens Invitational Information:
Welcome back to the XC racing season!
The Slavens Invitational is meant to be a welcoming event for all level of runners AND backgrounds.
Race Venue:
Harvard Gulch Park
660 E. Iliff Ave, Denver, CO
Course:
Distance: 3km (measured at 1.88miles), one loop
Surface: 95% uneven grass (spikes OK, super shoes may get ruined), there will be 3 stream crossings

Fees:
All fees must be received on or before 9/08 or there will be a $25 late fee. No team will receive team bibs if payment hasn't been received by coaches check in.
Note: The cost may be adjusted prior to Aug 1 based on increased costs of production.
6th grade only teams (boys and girls) $110
7th/8th grade only teams (boys and girls) $215
Individual runners $25/runner
Note: If you bring 6th - 8th graders the total cost is $ 325
If you aren't paying for all races please send meet payment via check (sorry).

The A race should have your top 7 runners regardless of grade. All other races do not have a size limit.
