MileSplit National is in search of the toughest course in the nation. Need I say more?
Okay, I'll say more, anyway--whether I need to or not.
Saturday is this year's running of the Battle Mountain Invitational at the Beaver Creek Ski Area. I've put together the data about comparative times for this course. What we need now is visual evidence.
So, if you're headed to Saturday's running of the meet with a still camera or a video camera, we could using your help in making the case for the Battle Mountain course as being the toughest course in the nation--at least for regularly occurring meets with any kind of consistent draw of teams.
I could use especially photos of steep ascents and descents. The best video would be of athletes grinding up a climb.
If you can send that to me after the meet, I'll put together the package that says, "You can stop looking right now, we found your toughest course in the nation."
Thanks! And, I'll post a free content article of some of the best images and video that I get. This should be fun!
