Ellie Londo of Valor Christian High School is the returning state champion, who also has an incredibly fast time of 11.79 so far this season. However, Zona Welling of Heritage High School cannot be counted out. Though she is only a sophomore, she has already ran 11.81 and could find herself a top that podium in this very competitive race.
In the relays, the 4x200m is shaping up to be one of the more competitive ones with four teams under 1:41. Eaglecrest High School has a slightly better season best time of 1:40.27 as opposed to Cherokee Trail's 1:40.28. This one will come down to the final leg and may be a photo finish.
