Arria Minor blazed through the 60 meter dash final in 7.41, but that was just the warm-up act.
There's more coverage to come on the MLK Mile High Classic from the Air Force Academy Cadet Field House today, but it needs to be said now that Arria Minor nudged a few people aside to climb to the top of the national indoor rankings ladder in both the 60 meter dash and the 200 meter dash.
Minor's 7.41 winner in the 60 puts her .03 ahead of erstwhile leader Kaylor Harris. Harris held the national lead for a little more than 24 hours before being eclipsed by Minor.
Less than an hour later, Minor was back on the track for the 200 meter dash and ripped a winning time of 23.85. That's a full quarter-second ahead of the former leading mark posted by Anavia Battle.
