LOOK AHEAD: What's Next?
For many of the teams, including host Ralston Valley, it was another weekend spent patrolling the outer perimeter of Jeffco Stadium. Almost as soon as the lights went off at Jeffco Stadium, the crew from Columbine moved into the house Saturday to host their annual invitational of a nice gathering of Jeffco teams and a few others from around the state. Jeffco Stadium did not become the most frequently circled stadium in the state by taking Saturdays off.
As for the coming weekend, the teams here this weekend scatter to the wind. Jeffco Stadium is reserved for the Arvada City Championships on Saturday, compelling non-Arvada teams to find another meet home for the coming weekend.
