The Air Force High School Indoor Open was the last indoor meet of the weekend, so can be forgiven if you thought this meet would be serving mostly leftovers. As is so often the case, good things came to those who waited.

Surprisingly, several athletes who'd been competing at the Simplot Games showed up for this meet as well. And, generally speaking, those athletes did very well, though the crash couldn't have been far away. Now, here's hoping they rest hard for the remainder of the weekend.

Things got going quickly in the high jump with Ashlyn Hare, Lindsey Kroboth, and Alysia Lopez all easily over 5-2. None of the trio, however, was able to get over 5-4, despite a few close misses. Ashlyn Hare ended up taking the high jump on a jump-off.
