After a year hiatus, the Aurora City Track and Field Championships revisited its old stomping grounds, the venerable Aurora Public Schools Stadium.  This year's event was hosted by Gateway High School. 

The return to APS also brought about the return of Regis' star sprinter, Ana Holland.  After a brief, yet scintillating indoor stint, the multiple-time state champion Holland re-emerged for the first time outdoors since her outstanding performance at the Colorado State Track and Field Meet culminating her sophomore year.  She barely missed a beat.  
 
Unfortunately, for the sake of spectators, a potentially hot early season match-up between Holland and the newly minted All-American Zainab Sanni of Smoky Hill never materialized.  Sanni, on a two week break after a lengthy and involved indoo...
