What clinched the decision for the school you signed with: As I began my recruiting trips I was in search of an university that was very competitive in academics, but would also take me to the next level in my running. On my official visit to Brown University, I traveled with the team to an Indoor Track Meet, and had the opportunity to observe Brown's head coach Tim Springfield. His coaching philosophy and training is very similar to what I experience with Coach Young at Rampart. I am also very excited about Brown's open curriculum of classes; where there are no required classes to fulfill.
Favorite Event: 3200
Favorite high school athletic memory: My favorite memory was at the Cherry Creek/Grandview Invitational 2012. I was ranked 3rd in the 3200M and got a PR and won 1st Place. I started running with Land Sharks at 8 years old and so another great memory is traveling on a bus with my teammates to Salt Lake City to compete in USATF Junior Olympics Xcountry Regionals. Running and competing in many parts of the US has provided many awesome memories.
