In theory, all the meet cancellations during the week would make the writing of this article a little easier. Actual practice, however, is rarely as clean as theory. We'll see how this goes. It was certainly an interesting week full of some monster performances.
Legacy has another ace in the deck. We're accustomed to seeing Emma Gee and Melanie Nun high in the results week after week. It appears, however, that we need to start getting used to seeing Megan Close there as well. Close was, well, close in the high jump, going 5-3 for second, but won the 100 hurdles in 16.55.
Ralston Valley's Keenan Gibson continued his nice season in the sprints with an 11.29 and 22.15 in the 200, both wind legal. If you stop and think about those times, though, there's something a tad unusual about running your 200 at a faster averag...
