It will be a long time before we forget Colorado high school track and field 2013. And that's not even counting the bitter cold we endured all through March and April.

It was a season of records--many of them monster records. It was a season of great team performances.

Any list of top moments is bound to have some subjective elements, but here's my best take at the highlights of the season for Colorado's high school athletes (one highlight per athlete):

Honorable Mention

Trenton Stringari/USATF JO Nationals- From a moderately quiet CHSAA season, Stringari exploded in the summer club season. Eventually, he would finish second at USATF JO Nationals with a 400 meter hurdle time of 54.17.
