It's been a while since we've seen the full Air Academy boys team in action. By my reckoning, it's been since September 19. Coincidentally, that race was also at Monument Valley Park. And Air Academy ran very well at that meet--just not nearly as well as they ran today.
From the very start of the race, Air Academy was a team on a mission. If it wasn't a collective chip on their shoulder, it was at least a team with a strong desire to set the record straight. And set the record straight they did.
In a regional contest that figured to come down between Palmer Ridge and The Classical Academy (neither of which ran poorly), Air Academy simply had no peers.
