If it's clues you're looking for, they aren't hard to find. The Palmer Ridge boys (and the girls, for that matter) have been busy tearing up the indoor circuit under the syncretism of Exceler8 Track Club. I think I get the convergence of "excel" and "accelerate," but I'm a little more in the dark as to whether the '8' has meaning or is merely a device to keep the team name imprint from creeping into the armpits.
In any case, you have already been warned. Palmer Ridge has the makings of a very good boys team for this spring. There is zero evidence of any level of misfortune adhering to last year's 13th-place finish at state.
Most of Palmer Ridge's state-qualifying individuals are back this spring, and the infectious enthusiasm of head coach Josh Trahan has everything pointed toward bigger things this spring.
