GW and CU alum Jeremy Dodson will be running the 60 meter dash at the USA Indoor Championships in Albuquerque this weekend. Colorado Track XC file photo.
This one figures to be about the quietest weekend we've had since the indoor season started. The high school meets, at least here in Colorado, are done, and the colleges are mostly inactive in anticipation of next week's conference meets.

Nobody is sending a full squad, but several schools--to include Metro State, Western State, Adams State, UCCS, CSU-Pueblo, Colorado, Chadron State, New Mexico Highlands, and College College--are sending various athletes. For some athletes, this looks to be a last meet of the indoor season. For others, this meet represents one more chance to post a qualifying mark. Perhaps the most interesting entry in the entire meet is a men's DMR entry from Queens (North Carolina). Perhaps it's the altitdue-plus-undersized-track conversion factor that has them intrigued? You can find out if they make the qualifying mark on Friday night. There are also a few high school entries in this meet. Those would be mostly pole vaulters, Mariah Walker in the throws, and handful of Angel Flight sprint entries. |

It looks like Wyoming, Air Force, and Northern Colorado getting together under much the same caveats as the Joe Davies Open meet in Golden. |
