The first good indicator of what it will take to get to state in 2014 is what it took to get to state in 2013. Standards, of course, tend to creep upward over time, but the creep will be small for most events, and some events will even slip back a little from last year to this.

But, so that you can start setting your sights on making state this year, below is a list of what it took to make it to state in 2013 for 4A boys. The number in parentheses is the number of seniors in last year's state field for the event.
