There are Bears loose in the 4A boys picnic ground!

The 4A boys state title race is anything but over, but we do have an early leader.

#1 - Palmer Ridge

You can't help but be impressed with what the Palmer Ridge boys have accomplished to date. This is no longer a team of a couple of very talented individuals. The Bears still have the talent, but the pool runs a lot deeper than it used to. Caleb Ojennes and Logan Malone have developed into a very strong pair of long sprinters. And that probably means some nasty relays are in the making as well. Josh Bethany has opened the season very well at 800 meters. Eric Hamer already has some solid 16s and 32s under his belt, though he doesn't wear that belt when he's racing. As a matter of fact, Hamer's 9:40 leads the 4A ranks at the moment.
