Yes, it was Good, It had to be Good; Paul Quere said so. He even missed his wife's birthday to be there. But, the meet ran quickly, so the couple probably had some celebration time of their own before the clock struck midnight.

When you throw together a recipe of several of the top track and field teams in Colorado, make them wait an extra day, and the shoot the starting pistol, you expect big things to happen. And they did.

The meet began with a 3A showdown in the SMR8. Eaton had already established their territory in the odd relay, but TCA came in with aspirations of their own. TCA's Brianne Hoglin, defending 3A state 400 meter champion, took the baton in second and quickly moved around Loveland into first.
