The Ray Campbell Invitational is Fountain-Fort Carson's home meet. It has been for ages. And, though Fountain-Fort Carson has a facility that could host very large invitationals, they purposely keep this one a little on the side of smaller.

Small as in numbers, but not small as in outcomes. Any time you put Cherokee Trail and Fountain-Fort Carson on the same track, big outcomes are more or less expected, and this one was no exception, though Cherokee Trail did end up getting somewhat the better of things, even without Brandon Singleton mostly out of action (Singleton qualified for the 100 meter finals but was the name on one of two empty lanes when it came time to run finals).
