It only its second year of existence the Pueblo Twilight did not fail to give the state something to talk about. The uniquely formatted meet contains two sessions that create two storylines, particularly for the distance events that take advantage of ideal conditions under the CSU-Pueblo Thunderbowl’s lights.
Not surprisingly, the first session was largely dominated by the presence of the Pine Creek girls.
Of the 11 new meet records set by girls on Friday, six of them belonged to Pine Creek. Madelyn Baron, Kaleigh Kroeker, Amelia Harvey, and Alleandra Watt all set individual records to accompany record marks in the 4x400m and the 4x800m.
Mackenzie Howie also contributed a victory in the 300H (44.75).
