Jay McDonald, Summit High School: McDonald ran the fastest time in the 800m in Colorado for the season, crossing the line in a time of 1:51.53! He ran that time to win the race at the Randall Hess Roughrider Invitational, adding to his other season best times of 4:14 in the 1600m and 8:45 in the 3200m!
Abbott Lockwood, Monarch High School: With the 100m times very tight in Colorado, Lockwood ran the new #1 time for the race for wind-legal marks, finishing in a time of 10.55! He is currently #2 for all-conditions and placed 1st overall at the Centaurus Twilight meet.
Noah Gustafson, Fossil Ridge High School: Gustafson won the triple jump at the Randall Hess Roughrider Invitational, jumping 45-2! That mark puts him at #5 for all of Colorado this season and #4 for Class 5A. That mark joins his other season best times of 14.60 in the 110m hurdles and 38.99 in the 300m hurdles.
Ashton Daly, Loveland High School: Though Daly has shown strength in the shot put, he threw a huge personal best in the discus, getting out to 174-4, which is #2 in all of Colorado! He won both the shot put and the discus at the Randall Hess Roughrider Invitational, and he also threw the shot put 55-1.5.
Isaac Vasquez, Thompson Valley High School: A few weeks after his teammate ran this time, Vasquez followed that performance up with a 4:12 mark in the 1600m of his own! He won the event at the Randall Hess Roughrider Invitational and is currently #3 in all of Colorado with that time!
