The Western Slope Multi-Leagues Meet is one major operation. Five classifications across five leagues running in four divisions with 1200+ athletes over two days is no small undertaking. Many thanks to the multitude of officials, volunteers and the Stocker Stadium staff that helped pull it off. Even the new electronic starting device system cooperated. With so much going on it, sometimes was difficult to just focus on the smaller component of the meet, the Southwestern League.
 
The SWL is a small collection of the larger Western Slope schools; 4A Durango, Montrose and Montezuma-Cortez joined by 5A Central-Grand Junction, Fruita Monument and Grand Junction.
