So far as 4A boys are concerned, all that's left to do is to run the state meet. And, that's a lot to look forward to, as the 4A boys race has tightened up considerably since we last visited the classification.

4A boys virtual meet

#1 - Palmer Ridge

The Bears are still the team to beat, they just don't seem as prohibitively out in front as they did a month ago. Sprints and sprint relays, though, are still the heart and soul of this team. If you would overturn the Palmer Ridge apple cart, you must deal with Caleb Ojennes, Logan Malone, Marcus Garrison, Josh Bethany, and the relays. Bethany's ability to hurt you extends to at least 1600 meters (but we're not worrying about anything beyond 1600 at the state meet). Eric Hamer takes over at longer distances. Palmer Ridge also gets a lot of production out of the pole vault with Nathan Brock, Jacob Rother, and Kyle Yoder.
