Having just completed an analysis of the state’s largest classification, we now move to the smallest. As we did with the 5A classification, we’ll start with the girls.
2A Girls Teams
I have to tell you, I’m not very inclined to pick a team favorite here. I feel like you could run this race four times and end up with four different winners. So, you’ll have to understand I don’t feel very strongly about the rankings I’m handing out here. Like a lot of other folks, I’m excited to show up on Saturday and see what happens.
1. Lyons – Lyons has a very capable three in CeAnn Udovich, Sierra Tucker, and Jenna Anderson. If Lyons has to go to someone beyond these three for scoring, it probably means someone else takes the title, but they were all running well at regionals last week, so things look to be good to go.
