If you were hoping for a drop-off for the Alamosa boys, you might want to postpone that hope for a couple of years. That's not to say that Alamosa loses nothing at graduation this spring, only to say they have plenty of pieces coming back. Alamosa ran five sophomores and two seniors at state this year.
The most obvious loss to graduation is senior and team leader Jericho Ulibarri. After transferring from Antonito to Alamosa a little more than a year ago, Ulibarri has added speed, stability, and depth to the Mean Moose roster. Make no mistake about it, Ulibarri was a key piece to this year's puzzle and will be missed.
