We take our final trip of the year around the Southwest region with this report. We'll focus on the state meets for Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico, and touch briefly on a couple of minor meets in Colorado and Utah.

It was the turn of the Las Vegas area to host the Nevada state meet, which makes McQueen's domination of the boys side of the meet all the more impressive. Typically, Reno area teams have trouble in Las Vegas, and vice versa, but McQueen had no problems whatsoever disposing of the competition.
