After two consecutive years of their meet being snowed-out (well, last years meet wasn't exactly snowed-out, but a number of schools left early due to the inclement weather) Castle View High School managed to host a successful rendition of the Sabercat Invitational on Saturday.
Under cloudless blue skis, and nearly flawless early spring weather, the meet went off with nary a hitch, save for a few hiccups with the new timing system, resulting in a race or two being re-run or re-called. Nevertheless, the Sabercat is quickly becoming a highly competitive and well-run early season meeting.
