As midweek meets go, the Dakota Ridge Invitational is about as large as they get. With a meet like that, you would be tempted to think you can look at the results in a straight-forward way.

But, that thought will eventually lead you to disappointment.

Let me try to step through a few conclusions about the results.

It would appear that the Arapahoe boys are maybe even a little deeper than we believed they were. Running without their top two, and possibly with the reins pulled back a little on some of the other guys, the Warriors made a mockery of the team scoring. It took all of eight places to get the Arapahoe scoring five across the finish line. Junior James Logan got the parade started in third.

Game over. D'Evelyn was a distant second.
