The Front Range League, as much as any in Colorado, has a tradition of excellence.

The last seven state championship girls teams--Fort Collins in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2014 and Monarch in 2011, 2012, 2013--have emerged from the league. Seven of the top ten teams in the latest Flo50 5A Girls rankings are from the FRL. The top end talent, along with plenty of depth, has cemented the Front Range as elite.

So winning the FRL, either in the boys or girls divisions, has its share of challenges. Despite the fact a couple teams Boulder and Monarch, decided to rest their normal varsities, the 2015 league meet didn't disappoint.

Henry Raymond, a senior for Poudre who has battled multiple injuries since last XC season, started rounding into shape a month ago. Today, he is a conference champion.
