With the CHSAA cross country committee meeting looming on November 16, I felt it most urgent to get to the question of 2A cross country first. With new boundaries for the 2A classification on board, there comes the question of how to score 2A in 2016.
To date, 2A has run six (or five, up until 2014) and scored three. With a higher ceiling on 2A than in the past, there is bound to be discussion of how to score 2A in 2016. So, what I've done below is scored three virtual meets for returning runners in next year's 2A classification below--one virtual meet with a score-five model, one with a score-four model and one with a score-three model (I will do the same for girls shortly). All virtual meets are done from best times for the entire season just completed.
