Now that the new classifications are settled, or at least we think they're mostly settled, let's take a look at who comes back with what next year.
The virtual meet scoring below needs to be taken with a grain of salt for all the usual reasons, plus the fact that Air Academy and Durango ran at Desert Twilight. While both teams are unmistakably solid teams, the Desert Twilight experience does tend to shave some seconds off the times.
Based on who should be coming back, Air Academy may well be the favorite next year, but they could also see some fairly stiff competition from right across the district at Pine Creek. And, of course, Battle Mountain will want another shot at the Kadets, too.
Without even thinking about incoming freshmen, it looks like a very solid year for 4A girls in 2015.
