Patton Leads Colorado Contingent at NSIC

On a day where Colorado's athletes struggled some with their performances, Brianna Patton grabbed the headlines by qualifying for the 60-meter hurdle finals at the National Scholastic Indoor Championships in New York City. Patton's 8.94 time placed her sixth in the semi-finals, good enough to advance to tomorrow's finals.

Notable among the Colorado athletes who failed to qualify for finals was Dominick Roberts in the 400 meters. Roberts, who had dominated the 400 meters at the Simplot games earlier this winter, clocked a 50.46 in the 400. That time missed the finals by nearly one second. Roberts did, however, qualify for finals in the 200 meters with a 22.20 time.
