The Northern League is as tough as it gets in 4A girls track and field. Niwot has established a run of state titles and looks to extend their run this spring. Depth might as well be Niwot's middle name; the Cougars can hurt you in so many different ways. It is true that Niwot graduated some talent last spring, but the well has not run dry. Even so, there are other excellent teams in this league and nothing will come easily here--for Niwot or for anyone else.

Although the following should not be construed as a prediction of order of finish of Northen League girls teams, it should serve as a strong indicator of the kind of strength each of the member schools brings to the table this spring. Rankings are based on returning marks from last spring. No incoming freshmen are included on the list below.
