Massive Field Pointed Toward Air Force High School Indoor Open

Cameron Dimas is currently Colorado's top-ranked indoor 1500, but that prestige goes on the line a very tough mile field at Saturday's Air Force High School Indoor Open. Photo by Alan Versaw.

Brace yourselves for this one. And, the time schedule may have to bend a little to accommodate the bumper crop of entries for the 2016 Air Force High School Indoor Open.

The link at the bottom of this article will take you to the start lists for this year's edition of the Air Force High School Indoor Open. Because the meet will be taking late entries, these are start lists and not heat sheets. Heats will have to be seeded after all entries are received.

But, the start lists are ranked by order of performance, so you can see very quickly were entries fall in the overall scheme of things. And, if you see a name seeded above a known Colorado entry, you may safely assume that is someone with a better seed mark coming in from out of state. You will also see that there are quite a few such entries.

It doesn't take a very long look at the entries to see that we're looking at a barn burner of a meet on Saturday.

Colorado Track XC will be on-hand with photo and video coverage.

If any updates to the time schedule are received, I will pass them along here.
