You might be surprised how long the list is of Colorado high school alumni who will be competing at DII nationals next weekend. I have accumulated at least a 95% list of such athletes below. I do not doubt that one or two may have slipped through the net (If you find one who did slip through my net, please let me know and I will update the article).
I've gone to the bother of linking the athlete profile page in each case of each individual qualifier below. I've done that for a couple of different reasons. One, to help give you an idea of what kind of high school athlete might become a nationals-level collegiate athletes as an individual. Two, to help illustrate that the events athletes specialize in in high school aren't necessarily what they end up doing best in college. You'll find a few examples of those on this list.
And, in some cases, if you're trying to jog your memory about a particular athlete, you'll find those profile pages link back to some photos and articles from their high school years.
