Where Are We This Year Versus Last Year's State-Qualifying Standards? 5A Boys, 2

So far, Fairview's Alex Weseman owns the top 5A Boys 400 meter mark at 49.28. Photo by Alan Versaw.

As of this morning, not a single minimum state qualifying mark from last year in 5A Boys has been eclipsed by this year's state qualifying standard. While the truth of that statement may not survive the week, it's still an indication that meets have been lost and opportunities with them. All teams, however, are more or less in the same boat with respect to that situation.

As of May 2, here is where state qualifying stands this year with respect to last year's minimum qualifying standards (before scratches). This year's current #18 is in column 4; last year's minimum standard is in column 2.
