Tiger Bids Farewell to Senior Talent

GRAND JUNCTION - Two years ago the Western Slope Leagues moved their meets back a week and the Tiger Invitational was the natural choice for the "last chance" meet for qualifications. It's only natural to recognize that the meet served as a farewell from the familiar stomping grounds for some of the most dominant Western Slope seniors in the last four years.

Fruita Monument senior Jacob Hahn has been of one of the top hurdlers since his freshman year. On Friday he ran his final high school 110 and 300-hurdle race at Robert Stocker Stadium, and it was one to remember. He held off cross-town competitor Jay Shuman 14.76 to 14.90 in the 100s for the win. As of Friday night, Hahn's blazing 38.32 was the best performance this year in Colorado in the 300 hurds.
