We've been through the five states of the Southwest region with one gender. We now go back for another pass with the other gender. In New Mexico's case, that means it's time to put the girls under the microscope.
New Mexico has never advanced a girls team to Nike Cross Nationals. At some point, that figures to change. Here is what the New Mexico teams look like coming into the 2016 season (less any incoming 8th graders and freshmen who are not quite yet on the radar screen):
