If you've been following as we go on these (and you can click on the NXR-SW Preview 2016 link at the top of this article if you haven't been following and need to catch up), you know the drill by now.
We go through returning XC rankings, returning 1600 rankings, and returning 3200 rankings for all schools. Then, we narrow the field down to small schools (enrollment < 1000) and repeat the process.
When we're done we have a pretty good idea of which teams we should be watching for in each state.
It's now the turn of the Nevada girls. Historically, Nevada hasn't sent a lot of teams--girls or boys--to Nike Southwest, but in any given year that could change. So, we keep checking up on the Nevada teams.
