This Saturday marked the 13th staging of the annual State Fair Street Vault. The event is unique in many ways, gathering vaulters from the ages of 13-86 with skill levels ranging from the rookies to Olympians.

The weather was mercifully rain free and sunny as both men and women competed alongside one another in three different sessions. The first session opened at 5-6, the afternoon session opened 10-00 and the elite evening session featured major olympic-level talent including Pueblo native Sam Pierson and two olympians recently back from Rio, Logan Cunningham and Cale Simmons, vaulting for a cash prize.
