The Western Slopers of the 3A crowd convene on Delta on Friday. Delta can always be relied on to be fast.
This region will definitely feel the influence of a few newly-down-from-4A teams, most especially Steamboat Springs. But, there is plenty left to be contested for the teams that have been 3A for a while.
We begin our look at all that on the girls side.
3A Region 1 Girls Preview
The virtual meet below pegs Steamboat Springs as the regional favorite. The Sailors have earned that, but with Winter Boese out of action for Steamboat's last two meets, a question does start to bubble to the surface.
Pretty clearly, Steamboat is a better team with Boese than without, but they probably advance to state either way. And, they very likely win the region either way, too.
