2A's standards this year will probably end up closer to 2A's standards last year than will be the case for 3A this year. 2A did inherit a couple new programs down from last year's 3A ranks, but the 2A inheritance is quite a bit less this year than 3A's. That suggests, but does not ensure, greater stability in 2A state-qualifying marks this spring.
The idea here is simple. You want to know what it will take to qualify for State in 2A this spring. One very good way of starting to dial that in is to look at what it took last year.
