Max Martinez has been among the most consistent and the most versatile of the distance performers in the class of 2017 over his high school career.
This time, we turn our focus to boys distance from the class of 2017. Distance becomes a bit confounded on account of out-of-state performances at low altitude, though it's mostly the top athletes who are making those trips to sea level to begin with.
Isaac Green started at the top of the class of 2017 (at least with respect to the 800 and 1600) and has more or less stayed there throughout. Other names very consistently on these lists include Max Martinez, Tanner Norman, Ian Meek, Joshua Romine, Isaiah DeLaCerda, David Moore, and several others. On balance, this has been a very consistent group of performers. But, you'll note some later-arriving names as well, names like Jeremy Meadows and Ethan Powell. So, the lists have not been completely static.
