For those with aspirations of continuing their 2017 outdoor seasons beyond the Colorado state meet, there are options aplenty.
In terms of ease of travel, however, the top option is the Great Southwest Classic in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on June 1, 2, and 3. June 1 and 2 are set aside for multis competion, plus the 4x800 and 4x200, and a couple of specialty events like the 2000 meter steeplechase and the hammer throw.
The bulk of the meet action takes place on Saturday, June 3, at the University of New Mexico track and field stadium.
