Caroline Eck, Junior, Mountain Vista
Eck's cross country season last fall never really quite came completely together. An injury held her out of several early meets and she was just coming back into form when the season--even a very long season for Mountain Vista--ended.
Eck, however, used track season to show us a little of what we missed. Eck showed a lot of versatility along the way, running 2:20 for 800, 5:07 for 1600, and 11:06 for 3200.
If Eck stays healthy and puts in a complete season this fall, the sky would appear to be the limit for her. She has the double advantage of people within her own team to push her and the very real possibility of helping her team to a team title.
