Tony Ortiz and Spencer Robinson are two of a deep group of seniors leading Timpanogos this fall.
The first round of coaches ballots are in and Timpanogos is at the top. Will they stay there through the season? Well, that remains to be seen. It's a long season, and a lot can (and will) happen between now and November.
We're calling this a preseason poll, but, strictly speaking, it's not. Utah has already begun having meets under the state-sanctioned season. Official meet activity begins this weekend, or later, for the other states in the five-state Southwest region.
These polls will appear on a bi-weekly basis throughout the season. Please do keep checking back. Polls later in the season will be expanded to include more teams.
And, the Southwest Girls preseason poll will be posted as soon after this one as I can get it up!
